Job Summary and Responsibilities
As a National Internal Traveler RN, you will be a direct clinical registered nurse providing independent patient care within your scope of practice.
Daily, you will utilize your advanced patient care skills, continuously enhancing your nursing knowledge, skills, and behaviors through education and involvement beyond basic job requirements.
Success in this role requires exceptional clinical expertise, strong adaptability, a proactive approach to professional development, and a steadfast commitment to independent, high-quality patient care in dynamic settings.
EBP and Patient CareUtilizes current evidence based practice knowledge, the nursing process, critical thinking and problem solving skills to provide holistic care to individuals across the life span and care continuum.Incorporates evidence when initiating changes to nursing practice.
Interprofessional Collaboration and CommunicationCollaborates and communicates with the interprofessional team to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.Uses the unique and complementary abilities of all members of the team to optimize attainment of desired outcomes.
LeadershipMaintains accountability for own practice, delegated care, and the coordination of care delivery.Fosters and contributes to the establishment of an environment that supports and maintains respect, trust and dignity.

Job Requirements
Required
Associate Of Nursing, or
Diploma Of Nursing, upon hire and
1-3 years Minimum 2 years of experience as registered nurse in specialty area(s) (e.g., medical/surgical, telemetry, intensive care, emergency department, operating room, post-anesthesia recovery, pediatrics, maternal-child health)
Basic Life Support - CPR, (Provided by AHA)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support, (Provided by AHA)
