Purpose of position: Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment by performing the following duties to quality and productivity standards.

Essential Functions: (must be able to perform these functions, with or without a reasonable accommodation).

• Determines labeling requirements including but not limited to assemble and pack products
• Proper operation of equipment to safety and productivity requirements, including but not limited to: lift truck, hand trucks, move or hoist materials to proper departments or areas
• Operates stretch wrap and bander machine
• Unpacks, examines, and routes incoming shipments
• Demonstrates proper use of safety devices
• Must be able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs regularly and ability to lift up to 150 lbs., with assistance, periodically.
• Ability to engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, pulling, stretching, and stepping up and down
• Other duties as assigned.
• Must maintain a neat clean professional appearance at all times.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, on short notice, including weekends, holidays and frequently in excess of 40 hours per week.
• Regular attendance is required to be able to deliver exceptional customer service

• Must be able to market Donaghy Sales and explain the mission to the general public.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate clearly in a professional manner.
• Must establish and maintain an effective working relationship with supervisor, employees and co-workers.
• Ability to function in a hectic work environment with occasional periods of high stress.

Experience and Education Requirements:

High School diploma or GED preferred. Prior warehouse experience or training a plus.

Working Conditions:

Extreme physical exertion, exposure to inclement weather, exposure to fumes and noise from the vehicles and lift equipment, and expose to cold box areas.
