Position: RN-PCU-Progressive Care Unit (Travel/Contract)

We're hiring experienced RN-PCU-Progressive Care Unit for a 13-week contract in Natchez, Mississippi — earn up to ($1800 - $1894 per week) while providing essential care at a leading facility. Most candidates will need to have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care in the Progressive Care Unit.

  • Monitor and assess patient conditions and vital signs regularly.

  • Achieve individual performance targets and contribute to team goals.

  • Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.

  • Participate in continuous professional development and training.

  • Educate patients and families on health management and recovery.

  • Document patient care activities and outcomes accurately.

  • Maintain high visibility of work activities and results.

  • Adhere to safety and infection control protocols at all times.

  • Engage in performance evaluations and feedback sessions.

  • Support a positive work environment through teamwork and communication.

  • Utilize technology and tools to enhance patient care efficiency.


Experience/Qualifications

  • Current RN license in Mississippi or compact state required.

  • Adherence to safety and infection control protocols is essential.

  • Experience in Progressive Care Unit or similar critical care environment.

  • Commitment to continuous professional development and training.

  • Ability to achieve individual performance targets and contribute to team success.

  • Strong assessment skills to monitor patient conditions effectively.

  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

  • Strong communication skills for patient and family education.

  • Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation.
