Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Location

Midland, TX

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:00)

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in an Intermediate Care / Progressive Care / Stepdown unit setting
Monitor and assess patient conditions throughout night shift hours
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using electronic health record systems
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and established protocols

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license or pending license accepted at time of submission (must be active prior to start date)
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
Prior travel nursing experience required
Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility (local candidates not accepted)
Must be available to work some holidays
Must pass an on-site drug screen (panels include: Amphetamine, Barbiturate, Benzodiazepine, Cocaine, Methamphetamine, Methadone, Opiates, Oxycodone, PCP, Marijuana, and Buprenorphine)

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience with Cerner electronic health records system
Background in IMC, PCU, or Stepdown patient care environments
