About the Position

Job Title

Travel Registered Nurse – Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU)

La Porte, Indiana

Schedule / Job Type

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced, 30-bed Intermediate Care Unit with a patient ratio of 4–5:1
Monitor and assess patients requiring intermediate-level care, identifying and responding to changes in patient condition
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
Float to Med/Surg unit as needed based on staffing and patient census
Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record system

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Indiana
Current ACLS and BLS certifications
Minimum 1–2 years of Critical Care or Intermediate Care experience
Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (local candidates are not accepted)
Valid driver's license with permanent home address on file matching ID
All required licenses and certifications must be submitted with application

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience with Cerner electronic medical records (EMR)
Prior travel nursing experience in an IMCU, PCU, or Stepdown setting
