Job Summary: The Test Technician is responsible for executing electrical and performance testing on circuit protection products to ensure compliance with quality, safety, reliability, and durability requirements. This role supports product development and validation activities by analyzing test results, preparing technical reports, maintaining laboratory equipment, and collaborating with engineering teams to drive continuous improvement and innovation. About Your Role: Execute electrical, performance, safety, and durability testing on circuit protection products, including fuses and related technologies. Analyze test data, electrical measurements, and waveforms to evaluate product performance and identify potential issues. Prepare accurate and comprehensive test reports to support engineering and product development decisions. Participate in design reviews and provide technical feedback to engineering teams during product development activities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve testing methodologies, processes, and laboratory capabilities. Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration support for laboratory and testing equipment. Ensure compliance with safety procedures, operating standards, and laboratory best practices. Support a fast-paced environment while maintaining a strong focus on accuracy, quality, and continuous improvement. About You: Associate degree in Electronics, Electrical Technology, or a related technical field; equivalent experience may be considered. 5+ years of experience in electrical testing, electronics, or a related technical environment. Working knowledge of electrical circuits, including series and parallel circuits, Ohm’s Law, and data acquisition systems. Experience testing, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical circuits and setups. Hands-on experience using laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and electronic test instruments. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications for documentation and reporting. Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams. Strong attention to detail, organization, and commitment to quality and safety standards.
