Operate within a flat, highly collaborative environment, partnering directly with development managers, construction leadership, design teams, finance, ownership, and external legal counsel. Position is part of the Company’s finance and risk management team for contract administration, deadline tracking, document management, title coordination, project leases, project finance, and closing documentation. Serve as the internal liaison between business stakeholders and a long-tenured external legal team, ensuring alignment across legal and operational priorities. Supports a wide range of real estate transactions, including leases, purchase and disposition agreements, loan documents, cross-access agreements, easements, restrictions, and select construction contracts. Plays a key role in both production and risk management while helping protect the Company's interests across a growing portfolio of development and investment projects. Location Onsite, five days per week in the SouthPark area of Charlotte, NC. The Background That Fits 5-10 years of experience supporting commercial real estate transactions within a law firm, commercial real estate developer, investment firm, REIT, or corporate real estate organization. Direct experience managing contracts and legal documentation related to acquisitions, dispositions, financing, leasing, development, and construction projects. Strong understanding of purchase and sale agreements, leases, loan documents, easements, title commitments, surveys, entity documents, and closing documentation. Proven ability to coordinate multiple transactions simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and meeting critical deadlines. Experience serving as a liaison between attorneys, lenders, title companies, developers, and internal business stakeholders.
