Real Estate Associate Full-Time | On-Site | Kansas City, MO Compensation: $240,000-$435,000 An Am Law 100 law firm with more than 1,200 attorneys across 25+ offices nationwide is seeking a Real Estate Associate to join its nationally recognized Real Estate practice in Kansas City. Associates receive meaningful responsibility on complex matters while working alongside experienced real estate attorneys serving high-profile national clients. Responsibilities Handle sophisticated commercial real estate transactions, including: Acquisitions Dispositions Title and survey review Development matters Assist with financing transactions and joint ventures. Draft, review, and negotiate transactional documents. Analyze complex legal issues and provide practical business-focused advice. Build and maintain strong client relationships. Collaborate with attorneys across multiple offices on national real estate matters. Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school. Active Missouri Bar admission or ability to obtain admission through reciprocity/UBE. 3-6 years of sophisticated transactional real estate experience (more experienced candidates will also be considered). Strong law firm experience, preferably with larger or nationally recognized firms. Experience handling acquisitions, dispositions, title and survey review, and development work. Excellent legal research, writing, and communication skills. Strong academic credentials. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. Preferred Qualifications Joint venture experience. Commercial real estate financing experience. Data center development experience.
