Personal Assistant / Housekeeper / Handy Person (Part-Time)


Schedule: Approximately 4 hours twice per month (or 2 hours weekly , flexible)

Location: In-home assistance

Job Summary


Seeking a dependable and trustworthy Personal Assistant / Housekeeper / Handy Person to provide light household support and errand assistance. This role is designed to help with everyday tasks that are currently difficult due to a disability. The ideal candidate is kind, reliable, and comfortable assisting with a mix of errands, light home maintenance, and cleaning.

Responsibilities


Errands & Household Support

• Grocery pickup and putting items away
• Collecting mail
• Taking out trash and recycling
• Running occasional local errands

Housekeeping

• Cleaning bathrooms and kitchen
• Vacuuming and dusting
• Washing dishes
• Laundry assistance, including folding and putting away

Light Handyperson Tasks

• Changing light bulbs
• Minor household fixes
• Assisting with small tasks around the apartment as needed

Qualifications & Skills

• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
• Comfortable working independently
• Basic household repair and maintenance skills
• Attention to detail and respect for personal space
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful
• Ability to handle light physical tasks safely

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry light household items
• Standing, bending, and walking for short periods
• Comfortable performing routine cleaning and household tasks

Additional Notes

• Flexible scheduling; tasks can be prioritized together
• All work is indoors and locally based
