Organizational Change Management Consultant

William Everett is seeking an Organizational Change Management Consultant to support large scale transformation programs. The OCM Consultant will design and implement change strategies that prepare leaders and staff for new systems, processes, and ways of working, helping organizations navigate complex business and technology transformation.

The OCM Consultant will lead organizational readiness efforts, support leadership engagement, and ensure change management activities are integrated with overall program plans and milestones. This includes developing clear communications, facilitating stakeholder workshops, and coordinating readiness activities that support successful implementation.

The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on, comfortable advising senior leaders, facilitating stakeholder discussions, and helping organizations manage change across complex environments.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of organizational change management strategies that support large scale transformation initiatives and drive successful adoption of new systems and processes
  • Conduct organizational readiness assessments and change impact analyses to identify how changes will affect stakeholders, roles, and business processes
  • Provide executive and leadership advisory on change strategy, including sponsor engagement, leadership alignment, and change leadership practices
  • Develop and execute communication strategies and stakeholder engagement plans that clearly communicate program vision, impacts, and benefits
  • Establish and lead Change Champion networks and stakeholder engagement programs to build awareness, gather feedback, and sustain momentum
  • Partner with PMO, functional leads, and technical teams to align change management activities with program milestones and implementation timelines
  • Facilitate executive workshops, leadership briefings, and stakeholder working sessions to support decision-making and program alignment
  • Monitor organizational readiness, adoption, and change-related risks, using metrics and feedback to guide mitigation strategies and support successful implementation
  • Identify potential change risks and develop proactive mitigation strategies
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
  • 7+ years of experience in Organizational Change Management supporting complex organizational or technology transformation initiatives
  • Experience conducting stakeholder analysis, change impact assessments, and organizational readiness activities
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills with the ability to engage stakeholders across multiple levels of an organization
  • Ability to work effectively in a client facing consulting environment
  • Strong experience advising executive leadership and program sponsors
  • Proven ability to lead OCM strategy and execution
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prosci certification or other formal change management training
  • Experience supporting large scale transformation initiatives, including ERP, HRIS, or other enterprise technology implementations (Workday, Oracle, SAP, etc.)
  • Public sector or government experience
