The Opportunity

FYidoctors USA is thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for a Floating Optometrist in the vibrant San Francisco Bay Area. This dynamic role is anchored in Los Gatos, with scheduled days in Mountain View and select nearby clinics—perfect for an optometrist who enjoys variety, collaboration, and exposure to diverse patient communities. Experience the best of Bay Area practice while working across multiple well-established clinics in one of California’s most sought-after regions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive eye exams and vision assessments
• Diagnose and manage ocular conditions, including contact lenses and some low vision care
• Provide prescriptions and treatment plans while collaborating effectively with staff
• Maintain accurate patient records in our electronic health system
• Deliver care to a varied patient base, including a strong Medicaid population

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited institution
• Active California Optometry License (Medicaid credentialing preferred)
• 1–2+ years of clinical experience
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
• Spanish language skills helpful, but not required

Schedule & Compensation

• Full-time, flexible. Some evenings and Saturdays
• 14–16 patients per day / 20-minute exams
• Competitive compensation starting at $500/day + production bonus
