Role Overview Technical Support Engineer responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing complex electro‑mechanical equipment, computer systems, software, and networked and wireless systems. Provides advanced technical assistance to field engineers, technicians, and product support personnel, addresses escalated issues, reports design and reliability problems to engineering, and supports customer installations and training. Responsibilities Diagnose and resolve complex hardware, software, and systems issues. Provide technical assistance to customers and internal teams. Report critical design flaws, reliability and maintenance problems, and bugs to product and engineering teams. Assist with customer installations, training, and IMAC (install, move, add, change) activities. Perform data backup and restore on client accounts. Ensure completion of administrative duties within Service Level Agreement objectives. Develop deep understanding of local and regional infrastructure and maintain contacts across related competencies. Qualifications 5+ years of experience supporting large, complex aerospace or defense enterprise environments. Experience with legacy network architectures and incremental modernization efforts. Experience operating in regulated, multi‑site, globally distributed environments. Strong understanding of enterprise network environments (LAN, WAN, firewalls, VPNs, wireless). Relevant IT service management or networking certifications (CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP, or equivalent). Ability to navigate account‑specific governance, escalation models, and stakeholder dynamics. Preferred: Cisco certification, network automation/scripting experience. Benefits and Compensation Compensation range: $79,920 – $152,160 (United States). Adjusted by location with specific ranges for California (San Francisco Bay Area), California (All Others), Colorado, Massachusetts, New York City, Washington, Washington DC.
