Job Description
Castle Cantina LLC is seeking a Latin Cuisine Chef to join our onsite team in Leicester, MA and deliver exceptional, authentic flavors to our guests.
Position SummaryThe Latin Cuisine Chef is responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality Latin cuisine while maintaining consistency, cleanliness, and efficiency in the kitchen. This role leads day-to-day culinary production and helps ensure each dish meets our standards for taste, presentation, and portion control.
You will work closely with the kitchen team to support smooth service, manage food preparation workflows, and contribute to an organized, safe, and welcoming dining experience.
Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards
Oversee daily food preparation, including ingredient handling, staging, and finishing for service
Maintain kitchen cleanliness and follow safe food handling and sanitation practices
Support inventory organization by monitoring stock levels and assisting with food prep planning
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and consistent quality during peak hours
Proven experience cooking Latin cuisine or comparable regional menu styles
Strong knife skills and ability to prepare ingredients efficiently while maintaining quality standards
Knowledge of safe food handling, sanitation, and basic kitchen safety practices
Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment and manage multiple priorities
Willingness to work onsite in Leicester, MA as part of a full-time schedule
Experience in a high-volume restaurant kitchen or fast-paced culinary environment
Ability to train or coach team members on cooking techniques and station readiness
Familiarity with cost-conscious prep practices, portion control, and waste reduction
Demonstrated ability to adapt recipes and maintain consistency across shifts
Weekly salary: $900.00 - $1,000.00
