We are seeking a collaborative and driven Landscape Designer / Architect with 5-10 years of experience to join Mithun. As the first Landscape Architect / Designer based in our Los Angeles office, you will have a unique opportunity to shape our emerging local landscape practice and contribute to the growth of our integrated design team. You bring a commitment to continuous learning and a passion for resilient, community-centered, and culturally equitable design, with strong skills in site planning and landscape design. Our work spans multiple scales and partnerships—including public and private clients, nonprofits, community-based organizations, philanthropy, and research institutions. You'll collaborate closely with our Los Angeles design team, as well as landscape colleagues in San Francisco and Seattle, who value shared curiosity, careful listening, appreciation, and learning from one another's experiences.
We currently collaborate in the office Monday through Thursday. Fridays can be in-office or WFH for most roles.

Mithun benefits include medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, parental leave, transit benefits, a 401(k) retirement plan and an annual discretionary bonus opportunity. We offer eight paid holidays, vacation accrual of twelve days per year, sick time accrual, and paid volunteer time. Flexible Spending Accounts or Health Savings Accounts are available based on eligibility requirements. The expected range of compensation for this role is $88,000 to $105,000 per year. Actual pay rates are based on experience, qualifications, internal equity and location.
