IT Director | Strategic Technology Leadership Opportunity

PEG Staffing & Recruiting is seeking an experienced IT Director for our nonprofit manufacturing client . Reporting directly to the President & CEO, this hands-on leadership role will drive the organization's technology strategy while overseeing enterprise infrastructure, cybersecurity, and business systems across multiple locations.

Top Areas of Focus

• System Architecture & Enterprise Technology Strategy - Lead enterprise-level system architecture, design scalable technology solutions, and align technical decisions with business objectives and future-state planning.
• Cybersecurity & Risk Management - Develop and execute cybersecurity strategies, business continuity planning, disaster recovery, compliance initiatives, and IT security best practices.
• Artificial Intelligence (AI) & Emerging Technologies - Evaluate and implement AI-driven solutions and emerging technologies that improve operational efficiency, business processes, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the organization's IT strategy and technology roadmap.
• Oversee cloud infrastructure, networks, enterprise systems, and ERP implementations.
• Lead multi-site IT operations, including the integration of acquired businesses.
• Ensure the reliability and security of business-critical systems, including e-commerce platforms.
• Manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, and technology investments.
• Lead IT projects using Agile and traditional project management methodologies.
• Hire, mentor, and develop a high-performing IT team while partnering closely with executive leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5-10 years of IT experience in enterprise environments.
• Proven expertise in enterprise system architecture, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, ERP systems, vendor management, and strategic technology planning.
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and project management skills.
