IT Director

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic IT Director to lead our technology team. The IT Director will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our IT infrastructure, systems, and services, ensuring they align with the company's objectives and support its growth. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and strategic vision to drive innovation and efficiency across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement IT strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
  2. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  3. Infrastructure Management: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, storage, and cloud services.
  4. System Administration: Ensure the smooth operation of all IT systems, including hardware, software, and applications, by implementing best practices for security, performance, and reliability.
  5. Security and Compliance: Develop and enforce IT security policies and procedures to protect the company's data and systems from cyber threats and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  6. Technology Evaluation: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in the IT industry, evaluating their potential impact and recommending adoption strategies.
  7. Budgeting and Resource Allocation: Manage the IT budget effectively, allocating resources to projects and initiatives that deliver the highest value to the organization.
  8. Vendor Management: Build and maintain relationships with IT vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts and ensuring service level agreements are met.
  9. Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization to understand their IT needs and priorities, and communicate IT initiatives and achievements effectively.
  10. Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: Develop and maintain a comprehensive plan for disaster recovery and business continuity, ensuring the company's IT systems can recover quickly from disruptions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Years of experience in IT leadership roles, with a proven track record of success in managing complex IT environments.
  • Strong technical expertise in areas such as networking, infrastructure, security, and cloud computing.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve their full potential.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business needs into IT solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a focus on delivering results.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, PMP, ITIL) are a plus.
