Job Title: Fragrance Lab Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Fragrance Lab Technician who is passionate about the fragrance industry. The role involves a variety of tasks essential to maintaining the efficiency and quality of our lab operations.

Responsibilities

• Compound fragrance sample back-orders.
• Assist in ordering and stocking fragrance labs with raw materials.
• Fulfill sample requests in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean and orderly laboratory at all times.
• Print and maintain security of all fragrance formula batch sheets.
• Conduct general quality control tests and create necessary paperwork.
• Assist perfumery staff with general compounding duties.
• Provide assistance to the Applications lab if necessary.

Essential Skills

• One year of experience in compounding.
• Knowledge of chemistry, wet chemistry, and related fields.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• A degree in Chemistry or Biology is preferred but not required.
• Experience in Product Development or a related internship.
• Background in Flavors experience, Food Chemistry, Food Science, Food Quality, Testing, or Research and Development.

Work Environment

The position is located in a bright, clean lab, featuring an atrium in the middle of the building, creating a vibrant and inspiring workspace. The culture is great, with a fun and passionate team committed to excellence. Work hours are Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. You will be part of the R&D Product Development Team, contributing to our mission of providing top-quality products and services.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Northfield, IL.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Northfield,IL.
