Duties and Responsibilities:
These positions are responsible for reviewing federal and state transportation projects and associated undertakings for potential effects to historic properties in accordance with state and federal law. These positions provide subject matter expertise to evaluate the potential effects to either archaeological or architectural resources resulting from transportation projects.
These positions are funded by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) to provide the Florida Division of Historical Resources (DHR) with sufficient staff to review and comment on transportation projects on an expedited basis.
