Clinical Informaticist – Clinical Informatics Description The position primarily works with physician practices. The role includes maintaining and developing an Electronic Health Record (EHR) for a hospital-based information system, and working closely with clinical providers to help them use the EHR effectively. The individual must demonstrate strong leadership skills and excellent time management related to implementation, support, integration, and ongoing evolution of the system. Experience / Qualifications Preferred 3-5 years of experience in a healthcare setting. Degree in Nursing with Health IT preferred. General understanding of EHR and clinical information systems. Excellent problem solving, verbal and written communication skills. Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills. Proficient Microsoft Applications.
