Description The Fargo Park District is seeking a Summer Finance Office Support Intern. Duties include assisting staff with preparing and processing daily bank deposits, including counting cash turn‑ins, auditing sites, and recording revenue. Additional responsibilities include assisting with Accounts Payable bills, data tracking, and other Finance Office functions and projects as assigned. This is a temporary, full‑time, non‑benefited position. The internship will run from mid‑May through mid‑August, working approximately 40 hours per week (not to exceed 40 hours). There is a possibility of reduced hours during the school year. Work hours are 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with occasional evening or weekend responsibilities for auditing to locations. Qualifications Cash‑handling experience Basic accounting knowledge for debits and credits Familiarity with a 10‑key calculator Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Strong attention to detail Ability to learn quickly, as multiple programs are used Deadline to apply is April 10, 2025.
